Aloha, Naval Medical Corps!

PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII - I visited the Naval Medical Corps at Pearl Harbor where I had the honor of addressing the men and women of the medical team as well as a group of breast cancer survivors. The team was very moved as was I. They graciously invited me to return to speak to a bigger group in October. Pearl Harbor was certainly one of the most historic places I’ve ever visited, and the event was truly one of the most heartwarming.

Sunny Inspirations

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - The Foundation team hit the road for sunny San Diego to attend the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Annual International Conference on Fundraising. The conference was a great chance to meet and exchange ideas with a lot of passionate individuals who are dedicated in some way or another to a specific cause. We had the unique opportunity to meet Sir Bob Geldof, a wonderful humanitarian who is a driving force behind finding solutions for poverty and world hunger, and listen to him speak on philanthropy. His words of encouragement really inspired us to return home to Ft. Wayne refreshed and excited to work even harder!
